Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

This is a short, plain-language starting point, not a law-firm-drafted document. It describes honestly what data takein collects and why, today.

What we collect

How we use it

To run the ordering flow itself: get an order from a customer to a kitchen, track its status, take payment, and handle payouts. We don't sell your data to third parties.

Who else sees it

Payments are processed by Stripe. Data is stored with Supabase (a hosted Postgres database provider). Both only see what's needed to do their job (charge a card, store the data securely) — neither uses it for their own purposes.

Cookies & local storage

We use your browser's local storage to keep you signed in and to remember your basket — not third-party ad-tracking cookies.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal data we hold on you at any time — see Contact. Customer accounts can also update their own name/phone/address directly from their account page.

Data retention

We keep order history for as long as your account exists (restaurants need it for reporting; customers, for order history), and delete it on request where we're not legally required to keep it (e.g. financial records).

Changes

We may update this policy as the product changes. We'll keep this page current rather than hiding changes.
